I have acquired the sculpture The Chase in bronze from Jean. A three “piece” sculpture including a stag and two chasing deerhounds. Each part of the Chase is crafted extremely well expressing in a natural way both the stag and the deerhounds. Growing up with deerhounds and having deerhounds myself as companions for many years it is stunning to see that the movement has been captured perfectly. Living in an area where it happened once in a while that our deerhounds encountered stags and chased them, Jean replicated this as it where in real life. The sculpture is vivid and dynamic and is a real eye catcher in the room where it is placed. During the creation of the bronze Jean kept in touch through email to provide updates. Regarding the shipping process Jean took extreme care of packaging the sculpture for oversees shipping! As a result of covid 19 and brexit the shipping was quite nerve wrecking for both Jean and myself. I received updates of the stage i the shipping process from Jean on a regular basis. In all aspects I recommend to acquire sculptures from Jean!
